Have You Dug Your Well Yet?
Genesis 26:12-22, 32
“WE HAVE FOUND WATER”
Intro: The people of God know much about water (Jn
4:13-14; 7:37-39; 15:3; Eph. 5:26-27) but the wicked
philistines plug them, unconcerned that it is to
their sad loss. Rev. 22:17.
-
Re-dug his father’s wells: he knew it worked for
his dad and mom: named the same. Strange how
church people try to rename the old time
religion and by so doing they plug their water
supply. Gen. 26:15.
-
He dug his own wells. We cannot live off
religion of our forefathers. We must develop our
own Biblical convictions, but learn from the
past. Ro. 15:4
