Intro: God will use a person who is in His will and is available to Him.

 

1.   What one used must do. (Phil. 3:14-15; II Tim. 4:7)

      a. Must run the race. (I Cor. 9:26; Heb. 12:1; Phil. 2:16) service

      b. Must fight the fight. (I Cor. 9:26-27) self, the flesh. (I Tim. 6:11-12)

      c. Must wrestle the match. (Eph. 6:12) scripture, the faith

2.   What one not used will lose.

      a. Lose your joy. (Ps. 57:12)

      b. Lose your testimony. (I Cor. 15:33-34)

      c. Lose your rewards. (I Cor. 3:15)

      d. Lose your health. (I Cor. 11:30)

      e. Lose your life. (I Jn. 5:16)

         

I.        Person With a Vision. (Isa. 6:1; Pr. 29:18)

A.  Vision of the Lord. (Mt. 17:8)

1.  Insights as to whose He is. (I Cor. 6:19-20)

2.  Insights as to what His will is. (Acts 9:6)

B.  Vision of the lost. (Jn. 4:35)

1.  View of a soul in hell. (Lk. 16:19-32; Mt. 25:41)

2.  View of a son in hell. (Jer. 12:11; Ps. 142:4)

 

II.      Person Who is Filled. (Eph. 5:18)

A.  Carefully sensitive to Spirit. (Num. 11:29)

1.  Grieves not. (Eph. 4:30-32) Resent

2.  Quenches not. (I Thes. 5:19) Resist

B.  Completely surrendered to Spirit. (Ro. 8:14)

1.  Will endure. (II Tim. 2:3-4; 2:10) as a good soldier, as a good soul-winner

2.  Will be open channel. (II Tim. 2:1-2)

 

III.      Person With Anointing. (I Jn. 2:20; 27; Heb. 1:9)

A.     Teaches personally. (Isa. 61:1; II Cor. 1:21)

1.      Doctrinally. (Acts 17:11; II Tim. 1:7)

2.      Disciple. (II Tim. 2:15)

B.     Teaches people. (Rev. 3:18; II Tim. 2:1-2; Heb. 2:2-3)

1.      See the needs of people. (Jer. 9:1)

2.      See the ddeds to be performed. (Tit. 3:14)
